We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Handyman & Repairs Specialist to join our team on full time basis. This role requires expertise in general handyman services and maintenance, including carpentry, upholstery, plumbing and electrical work. The ideal candidate has the ability to work independently, attention to detail. This is an ideal role for anyone with a flare for furniture restoration & upholstery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair structural and technical issues and provide accurate claim details when necessary
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Restore, upholster, and repair furniture and other fixtures as needed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in residential and commercial properties.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Use hand and power tools efficiently to complete tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification in electrical, plumbing and maintenance services are a plus;
- Proven experience as a Handyperson or in a similar role;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively;
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between branches, head office and stores;
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Possession of a Maltese driver’s licence B and B1;
- Have a good command of both Maltese and English;
- Be well-mannered and polite with staff, customers and contractors.
