Warehouse Leading Hands – Full Time
This is a pivotal role in the day to day operation of the Warehouse, reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager. Efficiency and exceptional service delivery to customers both internal and external are the key operational requirement for this role, along with the need for excellent people management skills.
The selected candidate will be responsible for warehouse upkeep and productivity and therefore required to execute the daily work plan, whilst ensuring adherence to stock management systems and health and safety policies and procedures.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for:
- Loading & Unloading of deliveries & receiving of returns;
- Executing the daily operations scheduled for the Warehouse Assistants;
- Servicing customers with direct pick ups for the Warehouse;
- Finalising the picking process;
- Assisting during stocktakes;
- Ensures that picking & unloading is done efficiently and accurately.
Applicants should:
- Be fluent in Maltese and English
- Have good PC skills, particularly Microsoft office.
- Be energetic, organised and willing to make a difference.
- Be proactive with an aptitude for problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Have a positive attitude towards customers and other team members.
- Having a forklift licence will be considered an asset.
