Head of Franchise – Poltronesofa

As the Head of Franchise of Poltronesofa, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the company’s franchise strategy. Responsible for overseeing the growth and success of the franchise network, you will lead a team in different locations (Malta, Cyprus & Greece) to ensure consistent brand representation, operational excellence, and profitability across all franchise locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Franchise Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive franchise strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities for franchise expansion.
  1. Franchise Recruitment:
  • Lead the recruitment process for all shops in different locations, assessing their suitability and alignment with the brand’s values and standards.
  • Negotiate and finalise franchise and logistics agreements, ensuring clarity on expectations and obligations.
  1. Franchise Operations:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of franchise locations, ensuring adherence to brand standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to shops on operational best practices.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Develop training programs for shops, ensuring a consistent understanding of brand standards, customer service, and operational procedures in line with the Franchise itself.
  • Conduct ongoing training sessions to update franchise teams on new products, services, and industry trends.
  1. Performance Monitoring:
  • Implement and strengthen performance metrics and KPIs to assess the success of individual franchise locations.
  • Analyse financial and operational reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives to enhance overall performance.
  1. Franchise Expansion:
  • Collaborate with the senior executive team to develop expansion plans for the franchise network.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new markets for franchise development.
  1. Franchise Relations:
  • Foster positive relationships with existing shops, addressing concerns and ensuring effective communication channels.
  • Organise regular meetings or conferences to facilitate networking and knowledge-sharing among shops.
  1. Compliance and Standards:
  • Ensure all franchise locations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Uphold and enforce brand standards, guidelines, and policies across the entire franchise network.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in franchise management or a similar leadership role. Home retail is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of franchise operations, contract negotiation, and business development.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, make strategic decisions, and drive operational improvements.
